pre-operative instructions

You must have an appointment

Please call 956-687-7728 (Tuesday – Saturday 7:30 am-4:00 pm) to schedule your pet for surgery.
A non-refundable deposit of $40.00 for dogs and $25.00 for cats is necessary in order to reserve an appointment.

Have Your Pet Vaccinated

At least two weeks prior to your appointment if possible.
Vaccinations are available at the time of surgery if needed.

Dog Admission

We have a very strict surgical schedule that must be followed:

All adult DOGS must have food withdrawn the night before surgery at 12:00 a.m. midnight.
Dogs MUST be kept indoors or confined and any dog that was remained outside all night without being confined may NOT be admitted for surgery.
Please leave your pet in your vehicle with the windows partially down until you have completed ALL of the required paperwork.

Cat Admission

Please leave your pet in its carrier in the car with the windows partially down, until you have completed ALL of the required paperwork.

Complete Necessary Admission Form

Complete form when you arrive. The admission process typically takes 10 minutes to complete.

rabies vaccine

We require that you abide by Texas state law and bring proof of a CURRENT RABIES CERTIFICATE for your pet.
If your pet does not have a rabies vaccine, we will administer it at the time of surgery for a charge of $10.00.

Pet Requirements

All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a carrier. If you do not have a carrier for your cat, you can purchase a cardboard carrier for $7.00.

patient release

All pets are released same day of surgery between 3:00 – 3:30 pm.
If pets is picked up after indicated time, there will be a late fee of $25 per pet.
If left overnight a additional $45 charge will be added to the balance.

we do not board pets.
